What should you look for when you are looking for a lawyer?

For some, a lawyer is only required when something bad or unexpected happens.  But a lawyer you trust can and should become an integral part of your life’s planning and your family’s future.

At AVA Solicitors, we are proud of both our reputation and our relationships.  A boutique legal practice, we believe in providing our clients with specialized, professional advice and an abundance of care.  While we may have a fresh, new website, we adhere to the same old fashioned values – professional service, delivered with integrity and kindness.

From top to bottom, ours is a culture of honesty, diligence and enthusiasm.

Enthusiasm for our clients, each other and the law.  Whilst we seldom blow our own trumpet and like to let our work and reputation speak for themselves, we’d like to introduce some of the key members of our team.

Andre Vosloo is our Director and a solicitor of the highest regard.  He is deeply driven by his commitment to making a difference to the lives of his clients.  Andre is a business law specialist who works to protect the client’s assets, maximize their business interests while keeping their family financial interests at heart.  Working alongside Andre is Caitlin Timu who was recently admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland.  She relishes the intricate nuances of a legal challenge and leaves no stone unturned as she strives to deliver her clients the best possible outcomes.

AVA Solicitors is proud to have one of Queensland’s leading property law specialists, Keith Bow, on its team.  He has unrivalled expertise in all aspects of Property Law and has a deep understanding of the legal system.  He brings rational and considered discipline to every matter, with a healthy dose of humour when appropriate!

Alongside Keith in the property department, is Katrina Kerkow-Hill, a Senior Paralegal with more than 30 years’ experience in legal and property development industries.  Luckily for Keith, she is technically savvy.  She also has an eye for detail, is imminently fair and treats every matter as if it is her own.

Maria Pallagi is passionate about all areas of succession law and elder law and has practiced exclusively in the area of estate planning since she was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in 2009.  Both tenacious and astute, Maria fights hard for her clients.

Enthusiasm for our clients, each other and the law.

It is a well-known fact that no one works harder at AVA Solicitors than Karen Cox, Conveyancing Manager, who knows how to make the complicated, uncomplicated and how to make the stressful, stress-free. Karen works tirelessly, always going the extra mile to help her clients achieve their property goals.

Demonstrating that hard work, combined with teamwork pays off, Lauren Seeley has risen through the ranks from conveyancing assistant to the conveyancer, working alongside Karen.

Megan Battams has been in conveyancing for over 10 years and loves helping clients by making the process of buying or selling a property easier.

What a team.  Without question, building this team and the people who support them, is Andre’s proudest achievement.

If you are looking for a respected and respectful partner in your business, property or family affairs, the team at AVA Solicitors are the team to have on your side.
